Abandoned Shoes: Conversing

Sometimes shoes are abandoned only temporarily, or perhaps merely stored outside.

I found the matching black Converse in the first two pictures about twenty paces apart while walking down Graham Street on February 2 of this year. And then on March 2, I found them again, only this time arranged side-by-side on the roots of a tree.

I don’t know whether the owner abandoned and reclaimed them, or whether someone saw the two shoes scattered along the sidewalk and felt compelled to reunite them.
